Zalzouli: "I still feel some fatigue after the Africa Cup of Nations, but I work every day to be 100% ready"
Moroccan international Abde Ezzalzouli, a Real Betis player, has confirmed that he is still experiencing some fatigue after his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations, adding that he is working daily to regain his full fitness.
Speaking to the club's official website after Real Betis reached the Europa League round of 16, Ezzalzouli said: "We had to be among the top eight. Our goal was clear: to go out and win to avoid playing two additional matches, and to be more ready for the league and cup competitions."
Regarding his physical condition, Ezzalzouli added: "In truth, I feel very good. I try to work daily to be 100% and always available to the coach. It's true that I still feel some fatigue after the Africa Cup, but I work every day to reach full fitness."
Ezzalzouli scored a goal on Thursday, contributing to Real Betis' qualification for the Europa League round of 16. This goal brought his tally in the competition to three for the 2025-2026 season.
