League Temporarily Suspended, Fate of Matchday 10 Postponements Undetermined, Sparks Questions
The National Professional Football League announced a temporary suspension of the Botola Pro Inwi competitions. This decision aims to allow Moroccan clubs participating in continental competitions to play their matches under optimal conditions, in addition to coinciding with the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
However, the League's statement did not address the fate of the postponed matches from the tenth round, which were originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday and Wednesday. This comes after the same body had previously announced their scheduling for these two dates.
The Professional League had previously decided, via an earlier official statement, to bring forward the date of the Maghreb Fez and Olympique Dcheira match to make way for these postponed fixtures. However, it later reversed its decision to schedule them without providing explanations for the reasons, raising questions about the future of these matches amidst ongoing controversy surrounding the scheduling of the remaining league competitions.
