Chabab Soualem Protests Against Belqchour, Appeals to Lekjaa Over "Serious Violations"

Chabab Soualem's management has protested against Abdeslam Belqchour, President of the National Professional Football League, by sending a grievance and protest letter to Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. The club is demanding urgent intervention to address what it described as "serious violations" it has faced recently.

In a statement, the club clarified that its appeal to the Federation President followed a series of issues related to the Professional League's handling of certain matters. These include not receiving the full grant for establishing its sports company, despite being one of the first clubs to adopt this system in 2022. The club asserted that it only received a portion of the amount allocated to clubs under the Professional League umbrella.

The statement also highlighted the delayed disbursement of the third installment of television broadcast rights for the 2024-2025 sports season, as well as not receiving the 2025 grant from the Casablanca-Settat Regional Council, despite the granting authority confirming the transfer of the amount to the League. Furthermore, the club cited the refusal to qualify players signed during the last winter transfer window, citing financial disputes. The club considered this a violation of the principle of equal opportunities, affirming at the end of its statement its intention to pursue all legal procedures to defend its rights.
