Mouloudia Oujda continued their impressive run in the Professional League - National Division Two, temporarily securing sole possession of the top spot after a resounding 3-0 victory over their local rivals Ittihad Islami Oujda. The "Eastern Derby" clash took place today, Saturday, as part of Week 11 of the league.

The victory propelled "Sindbad of the East" to 21 points, establishing a two-point lead over their closest competitors. Meanwhile, Ittihad Islami Oujda's points tally remained at 9, seeing them drop to 14th place in the league table.

Elsewhere in the same round, Chabab Mohammedia suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at home to Chabab Atlas Khenifra in a match hosted at the Municipal Stadium of Berrechid. The Khenifra side, who recently parted ways with coach Mohamed Boutahir, increased their tally to 14 points, climbing to eighth place. Chabab Mohammedia, however, remained in seventh position with 15 points.

Amal Tiznit emerged as one of the biggest beneficiaries of this round, climbing to second place with 19 points after a 1-0 victory over Chabab Massira. The latter's points tally remained at 16, keeping them in fifth position.

In another fixture, Chabab Soualem, led by coach Mohamed Bakari, successfully broke their streak of negative results, securing their first victory since Week 3. They triumphed 2-1 away against Raja Beni Mellal, with player Mahmoud Benhalib delivering a standout performance.

The remaining matches of the round will continue tomorrow, Sunday, featuring four important encounters. Chabab Ben Guerir will host Racing Casablanca in a game where both sides will be eager to improve their standing in the league table.

Stade Marocain will host Ittihad Abi Al Jaad in what promises to be a balanced and potentially thrilling encounter.
