Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that striker Erling Haaland and winger Savinho are ready to return to action in the team's upcoming match against Newcastle United on Saturday. This announcement boosts the squad after a period of absences for key players.

Haaland, the Premier League's top scorer with 22 goals, had missed two previous matches due to injury, while Savinho had been sidelined for nearly seven weeks with a thigh injury. Guardiola, for his part, clarified that focusing on the Premier League title race is not his current priority.

Guardiola described the remaining 12 matches of the season as "an eternity," indicating that many things will happen until the end of the season. Manchester City currently sit second in the standings, five points behind leaders Arsenal, with both teams having 12 games left in their campaign.
