
FAR Rabat Demands CAF Sanctions Against Al Ahly and Player Hussein El Shahat Following Cairo Match Incidents
FAR Rabat has called on the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to intervene and take necessary disciplinary action against Egyptian club Al Ahly following incidents during their CAF Champions League Matchday 6 encounter. The Moroccan club stated that these events posed a direct threat to the safety of its players and technical staff members.
According to consistent sources, FAR Rabat clarified in its complaint submitted to CAF that some Al Ahly players, notably Hussein El Shahat, engaged in unsportsmanlike conduct during the final minutes of the match.
The Moroccan team emphasized in its complaint the importance of applying disciplinary regulations against those who violated them, to safeguard player safety and ensure respect for sportsmanship. They urged CAF to impose appropriate sanctions as stipulated by its regulations.
