FAR Rabat's Hamoudan: "I Hope CAF Is Fair and Applies the Law to Al Ahly Fans as It Was Applied to Us"
Ahmed Hamoudan, Al Jaish Al Malaki player, has sent a message to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), demanding that it apply the law to Al Ahly fans following the unfortunate events witnessed during the match between the two teams in the final round of the CAF Champions League group stage.
Hamoudan stated in press remarks: "I hope the law is applied to them just as it was applied to our fans, because the way we were dealt with was not easy, perhaps referring to the 'treble' that occurred in Morocco."
He continued: "We accepted CAF's decision, even though the decision was a bit harsh. I hope that this time CAF will be fair, and God willing, what needs to be done will be done."
Al Jaish Al Malaki and Egypt's Al Ahly had both reached the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League, with Al Jaish Al Malaki finishing second in Group B with 9 points, and Al Ahly topping the group with 10 points.
