AS FAR Women's team suffered a comprehensive 6-0 defeat against English side Arsenal in their FIFA Women's Club Champions Cup semi-final match. The encounter took place today, Wednesday, at Brentford Community Stadium in London, UK.
Arsenal took an early lead, surprising AS FAR with a goal in the 8th minute courtesy of Stina Blackstenius. Frida Maanum then doubled their advantage just four minutes later, scoring in the 12th minute.
The English club continued to dominate, adding two further goals before halftime. Mariona Caldentey converted a penalty in the 21st minute, followed by Olivia Smith finding the net in the 41st minute, making it 4-0 at the break.
