Badri: "Our Goal is to Make History Against Arsenal and Inspire Future Generations"

Najate Badri, an AS FAR player, affirmed that her teammates are determined to deliver a strong performance against Arsenal in the FIFA Women's Club World Cup semi-final. The match is scheduled to take place at Brentford Community Stadium in London, kicking off at 7:00 PM (GMT+1).

Speaking to FIFA's official website, Badri stated, "We are determined to fight for our chances and give our utmost to deliver a great match against Arsenal, a team accustomed to such competitions. The AS FAR captain also discussed her leadership role within the team, emphasizing that wearing the armband is not easy, especially given her long-standing connection with the club. She explained, "It's not easy to be the captain of AS FAR. As a long-serving player and having been part of some of the titles we've won, I always try to motivate the young players and push them forward. Leadership sometimes requires letting go of personal matters to achieve balance within the group."

She added, "In difficult times, you must be present to boost morale and calm the players, but it's hard to combine playing the match with maintaining the team's composure on the field. Despite that, you must always present an image befitting the captain of AS FAR."
