FAR Rabat coach, Alexandre Santos, expressed his dissatisfaction with the goalless draw (0-0) against JS Kabylie in the third round of the group stage. He affirmed that the military team would do everything in its power to secure a victory in the return leg.

In the post-match press conference, Santos stated: “The match was difficult and complex, a battle between two very good teams. JS Kabylie played well, but we managed to control the flow of the game on more than one occasion.”

He added: “I am not satisfied with the draw, and we will continue to work towards qualifying for the next round, match by match. We now have two points, which is not a lot, but after three matches, two points are not bad, and we continue to show the required performance, while striving to achieve our goal.”

Santos continued: “In the last five to ten minutes, there was greater concern to preserve the draw, with some risks, which is normal. However, we delivered a balanced and good performance. There were moments when we suffered a lot, and also moments when we managed to control for more than ten minutes.”

He concluded: “Our goal is always to win every match we play, and we will do that in the upcoming game, which will bring us face-to-face with JS Kabylie again on our home ground. We will approach it with the same spirit and the same capabilities to show that we are the best on the field and capable of winning the next match.”
