El Ouardani: "We Still Maintain Our Hope of Qualification Despite Draw Not Serving Our Interests"

AS FAR player Marouane El Ouadani commented on his team's goalless draw against Algeria's JS Kabylie in the third round of the CAF Champions League group stage.

"The match was not easy," El Ouadani stated. "We knew how JS Kabylie plays, especially at home, and we prepared for this match because we wanted to win."

The AS FAR midfielder added: "The draw doesn't serve us, nor does it serve JS Kabylie. We still have some hope because we will host them in our stadium and our country. We wish them good luck, and I hope we qualify."

He concluded his statement by emphasizing the importance of fan support: "AS FAR with its fans is not the same as AS FAR without its fans. We know that AS FAR's supporters back us and will continue to back us outside the stadium, and I hope we win and dedicate three points to them."
