Bach: "Two Home Matches Ahead, We'll Aim for Wins to Qualify for Champions League Next Round"
Anas Bach, a player for AS FAR, discussed his team's goalless draw away against Algerian side JS Kabylie. He emphasized that the match was difficult from the outset, especially against a strong opponent on their home turf, noting that the primary objective had been to secure a win and return with all three points.
Bach told "Al Botola": "Regarding the match we played against JS Kabylie, we knew from the beginning that it wouldn't be easy, especially since we faced a team that is not an easy opponent."
He added: "Our goal was clear: to win the match and return with three points. However, we came back with one point, which remains positive given the circumstances in which we played the match, especially as we were away from home."
He continued: "We have two matches awaiting us at our home stadium, and a great opportunity to secure maximum points and win six points to qualify for the next round, God willing."
AS FAR is scheduled to play their next CAF Champions League match on Saturday, January 31, 2026, when they host Algerian side JS Kabylie. This fixture, part of the fourth round of the group stage, holds significant importance in the race for qualification to the next round.
