Senegalese President: "Grateful to King Mohammed VI and Moroccan People for Hospitality Extended to Our Delegation and All Teams at AFCON"

Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye sent a congratulatory message to King Mohammed VI for the successful organization of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament. He expressed profound gratitude to the Moroccan people for the warm hospitality extended to all participating teams.

During his speech while receiving the victorious Senegalese delegation, Faye stated, "I would like to congratulate the friendly and brotherly people of the Sharifian Kingdom for the tremendous efforts made in organizing this tournament, and I congratulate the Moroccan national team on their distinguished journey."

He continued, "On behalf of the Senegalese people, we express our gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, as well as to the brotherly Moroccan people, for the warm reception, generous hospitality, and care extended to our delegation and all participating teams."
