Oliseh (Former Nigerian Player): "I Haven't Seen the Super Eagles Play Like This Against Uganda, Mozambique, and Algeria in 20 Years"
Former Nigeria captain Sunday Oliseh stated that he has not seen his national team perform at its current level in 20 years, specifically since the "Super Eagles" reached the semi-finals of the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations, where they lost to Ivory Coast by a single goal.
Speaking on the "Global Football Insights" podcast, Oliseh said: "The Nigerian national team is not just Osimhen. Nigeria is these 11 outstanding players."
He continued, expressing his admiration for his country's performance in the AFCON in Morocco: "I haven't seen the Super Eagles play in the manner they did against Uganda, Mozambique, and Algeria in 20 years."
It is worth noting that the Moroccan national team will face their Nigerian counterparts tomorrow, Wednesday, at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium (21:00 GMT+1) in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.
