Osimhen: "Lookman is My Brother, What Happened Was Just a Misunderstanding"

Nigeria national team striker Victor Osimhen spoke about his relationship with teammate Ademola Lookman, emphasizing that they are very close.

Osimhen clarified that he quickly reconciled with Lookman after a disagreement between them on the pitch during Nigeria's match against Mozambique, which the 'Super Eagles' won 4-0.

In a statement to French channel Canal+, Osimhen said: "Lookman is my brother, and what happened was just a misunderstanding, but as you know, this is football."

He continued discussing his relationship with his teammate, adding: "There's nothing to say about my brother. We are very close on the pitch."

It is worth noting that the Moroccan national team will face their Nigerian counterparts in the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals, next Wednesday (21:00 GMT+1), at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
