Paris Saint-Germain Achieves Historic Sextuple, Crowned Team and Coach of the Year
In 2025, French club Paris Saint-Germain was named Men's Team of the Year by Flashscore, with their coach Luis Enrique also receiving the Coach of the Year award from the same organization. The team achieved a historic feat by clinching a 'sextuple' of major titles.
This sextuple included the team's first-ever UEFA Champions League title, secured after a dominant 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the final on May 31. Their European campaign saw notable wins against Manchester City, Brest, Liverpool, Aston Villa, and Arsenal.
Paris Saint-Germain also added the UEFA Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup, Trophée des Champions, Ligue 1, and Coupe de France titles to their collection. The only trophy that eluded the team was the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup, where they lost to Chelsea in the final after defeating Inter Miami, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid en route to the showpiece event.
Domestically, the team secured their fourth consecutive national league title, their sixteenth domestic cup, and their thirteenth national Super Cup. This remarkable success comes after the departure of star players such as Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappé from the club.
