
Arsenal Defeat Bournemouth, Strengthen Premier League Lead
Arsenal secured a crucial 3-2 victory over hosts Bournemouth on Saturday at the Vitality Stadium, in a Premier League fixture.
Bournemouth took an early lead in the 10th minute through Evanilson, capitalizing on a mistake from Gabriel. However, Gabriel himself quickly redeemed himself by scoring Arsenal's equalizer in the 16th minute.
In the second half, Declan Rice scored two goals for Arsenal. His first came in the 54th minute following a pass from Martin Odegaard, and his second in the 71st minute, assisted by Bukayo Saka. Although Eli Junior Cropi pulled one back for Bournemouth in the 76th minute, Arsenal held onto their advantage until the final whistle to clinch the victory.
This victory marks Arsenal's fifth consecutive win, and they now sit atop the league table with 48 points, six points clear of Aston Villa and seven points ahead of Manchester City.
