CAF Appoints Moroccan Refereeing Team Led by Jalal Jaid for Cameroon vs. Mozambique AFCON 2025 Match
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Refereeing Committee has appointed an all-Moroccan officiating team for the match between Mozambique and Cameroon. This fixture is part of the third and final round of the group stage in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
International referee Jalal Jaid will lead the officiating crew, assisted by Zakaria Brinsi and Mostafa Akardad. Mostafa Kachaf will serve as the fourth official.
The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) duties for the match have been assigned to Hamza El Fariq. He will be assisted by Libya's Abdellrazak Ahmed and Uganda's Ali Mulumba Tomusange as the second assistant VAR.
The match is scheduled to take place today, Wednesday, at the Grand Stade d'Agadir, kicking off at 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
