Hakimi: "Happy to be back after a long absence, now a new tournament will begin"

Achraf Hakimi expressed great happiness upon his return to the field, after participating today as a substitute with the Moroccan national team in their 3-0 victory over Zambia in the third round of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The captain of the "Atlas Lions" said after the match: "We are very happy after today's performance. We must always be like this; this is the team spirit. Thanks to the fans for their support, and this is how we always want them."

Regarding his return from injury, he added: "I am happy to be back after a long absence. Every match has its own approach. The Africa Cup of Nations journey is long, and our first goal was to qualify at the top of the group, which we achieved. Now we must focus, because a new tournament will begin, and we must remain concentrated."
