Hakimi: "Whether I Play or Not, My Goal is to Win the Africa Cup"

Star Achraf Hakimi confirmed that he has recovered from the injury he sustained over a month ago and is now ready to return to action. However, he clarified that his main objective remains to win the Africa Cup of Nations, regardless of whether he participates or not.

The captain of the "Atlas Lions" stated during a press conference held on Sunday morning, ahead of the match against Zambia: "I feel good. We set up a program with the coach and the medical staff. I didn't feel 100% ready to play in the last match."

He added: "The most important thing is the team, not me. We have a great squad, and if the coach asks me to play, I am ready. Otherwise, I will support the team from the bench. Whether I play or not, my goal is to win the Africa Cup."
