Benij: 'We Haven't Seen Morocco Play Like This in a Long Time'

Former Moroccan international Aziz Benij asserted that the Moroccan national team delivered its best half in a long time during their ongoing match against Zambia, in the final round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage.

Commenting on the Moroccan team's first half in the beIN Sports analytical studio, Benij stated: "We observed clear cohesion among the players, with each player complementing the other. El Abde provided the team with depth and contributed to playmaking with his passes, delivering a superb half as he offered several attacking solutions."

He added: "El Ashibi, in turn, played a half as if he had been a regular starter with the national team for a long time. We haven't seen the Moroccan national team play in this manner for a long time; they returned to balance and discipline, which allowed them to produce a beautiful half."
