Senegalese Issa Sy to Referee Morocco vs. Zambia Match, South Africa's Tom Abongile to Lead VAR

The Confederation of African Football's (CAF) Referees Committee has announced the appointment of a Senegalese officiating crew to manage today's match between the Moroccan national team and its Zambian counterpart. This fixture is part of the third and final round of the group stage in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The task of officiating this anticipated encounter has been assigned to Senegalese international referee Issa Sy, who will be assisted by Camara Djibril and Bangoura Nouha. Guy Daouda has been appointed as the fourth official. For the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, South African referee Tom Abongile was selected.
