Mazin Mohamed (Sudan Player): "Morocco Has All the Capabilities to Organize Tournaments Bigger Than the Africa Cup of Nations"
Sudan national team player Mazin Mohamedin El Nour Mohamed praised Morocco's excellent organization of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament. His comments came after Sudan's 1-0 victory over Equatorial Guinea in the second round of the Africa Cup of Nations group stage.
In post-match press statements, Mazin said: "This is an immense joy for the Sudanese people before the players. The victory came at the right time, and the players were men on the field for the entire 90 minutes. Thanks to their fighting spirit, dedication, and high performance, we were able to secure the three points and bring happiness to our people in Sudan, even before pleasing the supporters who backed us today in the stadium."
He added: "Honestly, even if we spoke until tomorrow, we wouldn't do justice to the fans. They have supported the national team in all its travels, whether in Libya or Morocco. Wherever we go, we find Sudanese fans in front of us, supporting us from the first minute to the last. The fans played a significant role in this victory, which was achieved by the grace of God."
Mazin concluded: "The atmosphere in Morocco is truly world-class, and all conditions are set for us. I believe Morocco has extensive experience in hosting international events, and I think that as a nation, it possesses all the capabilities to host tournaments bigger than the Africa Cup of Nations, even the World Cup, thanks to the quality of its stadiums and hotels."
