Salah Nour Eldin, assistant coach of the Sudan national team, extended his gratitude to the Moroccan fans after their narrow 1-0 victory over Equatorial Guinea in the second round of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations group stage.
Nour Eldin stated in post-match press remarks: "We suffered a lot in this match, and the preparation phase after facing Algeria was difficult. However, we were not in a hurry to secure the win today and managed to absorb the opponent's enthusiasm. Additionally, some players made their debut for the national team and delivered a good performance."
He added: "We are all determined to approach the next match and achieve a good result, especially with the return of some players recovering from injury, who will provide the necessary boost to the team."
The same speaker clarified: "The Moroccan fans are very good, and we are one people. They stood with us honorably, and we are not strangers to them; we are always here. God willing, our joy and Morocco's joy will continue."
