The Egyptian national team drew 0-0 with their Angolan counterparts on Monday in the third and final round of the group stage for the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025" qualifiers.
The goalless draw dominated the encounter, which was held at the Grand Stadium of Agadir. Egypt had already secured their qualification for the AFCON knockout stages, while Angola is largely eliminated from the competition at the group stage.
With this result, the Egyptian national team finishes at the top of Group B with 7 points. South Africa follows in second place with 6 points, while Angola occupies third place with 2 points. Zimbabwe is at the bottom of the group with just one point.
