Tunisia Secures 3-1 Victory Over Uganda in AFCON Opener in Rabat

The Tunisian national team began their journey in the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025" qualifiers with a 3-1 victory over Uganda. The match took place on Tuesday evening at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.

The Tunisian squad started strongly, with Ellyes Skhiri scoring the opening goal in the 10th minute. His teammate Elias Achouri then doubled their lead in the 40th minute.

After the break, Achouri netted his second goal of the match, and Tunisia's third, around the 64th minute. Uganda managed to pull one back in the 90+2nd minute.

With this result, Tunisia now leads Group C with three points, level with second-placed Nigeria. Tanzania and Uganda occupy the third and fourth positions, respectively, without any points.
