Sektioui: 'Divine Blessing and Parental Approval Key to Morocco B Team's Success'
Tariq Sektioui, coach of the Moroccan B national team, spoke after his team's three-nil victory over the UAE today, Monday, in the Arab Cup semi-finals, expressing his great happiness with qualifying for the final.
Sektioui stated in a press release: “I am very happy, and praise be to God. All praise and thanks are due to You, Allah, for this is by the grace of my Lord. As it is always said, whoever has goodness in their heart, God will bring them good.”
He added: “Humility is beautiful, and whoever is truly humble, God will elevate them. Sincerity in work is essential, and praise be to God that my Lord granted me success in that. Praise be to God, we found players with sincere hearts, clear principles, and great morals, foremost among which is representing Morocco in the best possible way.”
Sektioui highlighted the importance of respect and balance in dealing with players: “Respect for the players comes first, because I played football and I know what a player goes through. My dealings with them from the beginning were based on great respect and sincere love. I tried to create a balance between love, respect, and responsibility, and this certainly leads to good performance and successes.”
He also emphasized the players' role in achieving the victory: “Praise be to God, we were successful in making the right substitutions at the right time, which contributed to scoring the second and third goals. Nothing could be achieved without their efforts. Furthermore, the approval of parents and the pleasure of God are also significant factors.”
