Hassan Filali, a member of the organizing committee for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), affirmed Morocco's readiness to host the continent's largest sporting event. Filali, who oversees the organizing committee in Rabat, clarified that all preparations are complete for the start of this continental celebration.

In a statement to National Radio's "Al-Ahad Al-Riyadi" (Sports Sunday) program, the official revealed that all arrangements have been finalized across the host cities for the upcoming tournament.

Filali stated, "Moroccan cities have adopted an African character, showcasing the Kingdom of Morocco's embrace of the Africa Cup of Nations. Squares have been adorned with the flags of participating African nations, and fan zones have been established in the six host cities and other regions of Morocco, allowing Moroccan fans across all cities to experience the tournament's atmosphere."

Filali further explained that "airports and trains are sufficiently prepared to transport fans, and dedicated areas for guiding spectators and media personnel have been set up, following continuous coordination between the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, led by Fouzi Lekjaa, and other relevant ministries and authorities."

The AFCON organizing committee member disclosed that some stadiums are expected to be sold out due to the significant demand observed on ticket sales platforms. Regarding Rabat, the city will host six national teams, which will play their matches at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, Moulay El Hassan Stadium, City Stadium, and Post Stadium.

Filali underscored the importance of citizens' contributions from their respective positions to ensure the success of the African tournament, emphasizing that "this celebration is everyone's celebration, and it is an event for all Moroccans, who are renowned for their generosity and hospitality."
