UAE Goalkeeper Anticipates Tough Morocco Semi-Final Clash

Hamad Al-Meqbali, the United Arab Emirates national team goalkeeper, has acknowledged the formidable challenge awaiting his side against Morocco in the Arab Cup semi-finals, scheduled for next Monday at 15:00 GMT+1.

Speaking to the press after their recent victory, Al-Meqbali stated, "Praise be to God for the win. Morocco is a strong team, and despite featuring new players, they remain one of the best African and Arab teams."

He further added, "The match against Morocco will be difficult and just as challenging as our encounter with Algeria. We will celebrate our qualification today, and then we will focus on studying the Moroccan national team's strengths and weaknesses."

The UAE national team secured their spot in the Arab Cup semi-finals by overcoming Algeria in a thrilling penalty shootout, winning 7-6 after the match ended in a 1-1 draw following extra time.
