Arab Cup: UAE Qualify for Quarter-Finals After 3-1 Victory Over Kuwait

The United Arab Emirates national team secured their spot in the Arab Cup quarter-finals after defeating their Kuwaiti counterparts 3-1 in a match played today, Tuesday, as part of the third round of the group stage.
Yahya Al-Ghassani scored two consecutive goals for the Emirati 'White', the first from a penalty kick in the 16th minute, followed by his second just two minutes later in the 18th minute.
Nicolás Giménez added the third goal for the UAE in the 66th minute, while Fahad Al-Hajri scored Kuwait's sole goal in the 59th minute.
With this victory, the UAE finished the group stage in second place in Group C with 4 points, behind group leaders Jordan (9 points). Egypt came in third with two points, and Kuwait finished last with one point.
