Syria's Khribin: "Morocco Among Strongest Teams in the World, I Congratulate Them"

Omar Khribin, a player for the Syrian national team, congratulated his Moroccan counterparts on their qualification for the semi-finals of the Arab Cup, emphasizing that his teammates played against an opponent considered among the strongest teams in the world.

Khribin told Qatar's Al Kass channel: "This is the nature of football, but we are proud of what we presented. We played against Morocco, which is considered one of the strongest teams in the world, and I congratulate them on this victory, and better luck to us."

He continued: "God willing, this tournament will be a good omen for Syrian football." Khribin also noted that his entry as a substitute was due to an injury, adding: "I am suffering from a broken hand, and by God's will, we expected to play extra time, but this is the nature of football."

He concluded: "I am proud of what we presented, and I congratulate Morocco. I thank the Syrian fans for their presence. We wanted to make you happy, but by God's will, this is the nature of football. I hope they trust us so that we can make them happy in what is to come."
