
Comoros Coach Announces AFCON Squad for Morocco Group, Featuring Arab Cup Stars Zaid Amir and Yanis Kari
Comoros national team coach Stefano Cozzin unveiled his squad on Tuesday evening for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place in Morocco between December 21 and January 18.
The 26-player squad includes 35-year-old Youssouf M'Changama, who boasts 70 international caps and 14 goals. Zaidou Youssouf, who plays for Saudi club Al-Fateh, was also named.
The full squad list is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Yannick Pandor, Salim Ben Boina, Adel Anzimati.
Defenders: Kassim M'Dahoma, Ahmed Soilihi, Saïd Bakari, Ismaël Boura, Akim Abdallah, Kenan Toibibou, Yanis Kari, Idriss Mohamed.
Midfielders: Zaidou Youssouf, Rayan Lutin, Yacine Bourhane, Youssouf M'Changama, Iyad Mohamed, Rémy Vita, Raouf Mroivili, Benjaloud Youssouf.
Forwards: Rafiki Saïd, Faiz Selemani, Myziane Maolida, Aymeric Ahmed, Aboubacar Ali, Ben El Fardou, Zaid Amir.
Comoros is set to face Morocco in the opening match of the continental tournament, followed by fixtures against Zambia and Mali.
