Hamada Jambay, head coach of the Comoros national team, expressed his regret following their 3-1 defeat to Morocco in a match played today, Tuesday, as part of the first round of the group stage of the Arab Cup.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Jambay stated that playing against a team of Morocco's caliber demands immense focus and high-level experience. He indicated that individual errors were the primary reason for the loss. He added: "It's difficult to play against a team like Morocco; they are a good team with a lot of experience. We made mistakes due to a lack of experience."

Jambay explained that he is well aware of the difficulty of facing a strong and organized team like Morocco, given his previous experience in high-level competitions. He said: "I have played at high levels before, and I know that mistakes like these are unforgivable. Playing against Morocco is very difficult when you hand them opportunities."

Hamada Jambay affirmed that the team's performance improved in the second half after the players felt the need to deliver a response befitting their country and national flag. He stated: "In the second half, we were compelled to respond, for the sake of the nation and the flag. We had to show a different face."

The Comoros coach emphasized that big teams like Morocco capitalize on any lapse. He remarked: "When you face strong teams like Morocco, every mistake you make, you pay for it instantly."

Despite the defeat, Jambay expressed confidence in his players' ability to learn from this match and approach the upcoming rounds with greater spirit, hoping to correct their course and present a stronger performance in the remainder of the competition.
