Tariq Skitioui, coach of the Moroccan national reserve team, expressed great satisfaction with his team's victory over Comoros in the first round of the Arab Cup group stage, emphasizing that the match was by no means easy.

Skitioui stated in his post-match comments: "Firstly, I am happy with this victory. The results of yesterday's matches confirm the difficulty of the competition; games are no longer easy, and no team can be considered small or big. To win the three points, you must be mentally and physically ready, and our players approached the match with great seriousness."

He added: "We scored three goals in the first half. In the second half, we had to face an opponent who played with four defenders and two midfielders and tried to get back into the game. We were smart and relied on counter-attacks; there was a clear penalty, and we could have scored other goals. The important thing is to achieve victory in the first match, as the start is always crucial."

Skitioui concluded by praising his players: "I am proud of their spirit, courage, and commitment on the field, but the journey is still long and difficult."
