Maaloul: Arab Cup Provides Lessons for AFCON Participants

Tunisia national team player Ali Maaloul spoke about the importance of learning lessons from the Arab Cup tournament, emphasizing the need to avoid the same mistakes in the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025".

Maaloul told Qatar's Al Kass channel: "We improved in the match against Qatar because we scored many goals and didn't concede any, unlike what happened in the previous two matches. This is football; when you make mistakes, you exit the tournament."

He added: "The tournament was not up to our ambitions, and God willing, it will be a lesson for the players who will participate in the Africa Cup of Nations, by avoiding mistakes and rectifying many issues."

Tunisia was eliminated from the Arab Cup along with Qatar, while Palestine and Syria advanced to the quarter-finals, with Palestine topping their group and Syria finishing as runners-up.
