Yassine Merriah, a player for the Tunisian national team, expressed his deep regret after exiting the Arab Cup group stage, despite a 3-0 victory over Qatar. He affirmed that this elimination would serve as a valuable lesson before the team embarks on the Africa Cup of Nations "Morocco 2025" campaign.

Speaking to Qatar's Al Kass channel, Merriah stated: "I extend a big thank you to our fans who have not lost hope, and we are sorry that we were not at the level our supporters expected."

He continued: "We hope to compensate our fans at the Africa Cup of Nations in word and deed. We have learned our lesson from this tournament, and God willing, we will be ready for the Africa Cup of Nations."

Tunisia, alongside Qatar, exited the Arab Cup tournament. Meanwhile, Palestine and Syria qualified for the quarter-finals, with Palestine topping the group and Syria finishing as runners-up.
