
Tunisia Begins Arab Cup Campaign with 1-0 Defeat to Syria
Tunisia's national team commenced their Arab Cup campaign in Qatar with a 1-0 loss to Syria on Monday, in their opening Group A fixture.
The Syrian side managed to score the opening goal in the 48th minute of the second half, courtesy of Omar Khribin's direct free-kick.
This result places Syria at the top of Group A with three points, while Tunisia sits at the bottom without any points.
