Jordan Coach Al-Salami and Tunisian Journalist Clash Over Rades Pitch After Friendly
A verbal altercation erupted between Moroccan Jamal Al-Salami, head coach of the Jordanian national team, and a Tunisian journalist during the post-match press conference following the friendly game between Tunisia and "Al-Nashama." The match concluded with the "Carthage Eagles" securing a 3-2 victory.
The heated exchange began after Al-Salami voiced his displeasure with the pitch conditions at Rades Stadium and the match ball, stating that they negatively affected his players' performance. The Tunisian journalist then interrupted him, saying: "You are justifying the defeat, because both teams played with the same ball and on the same pitch. If you had won, you would not have made these comments."
Al-Salami responded to the Tunisian journalist, stating: "I came to Tunisia because I respect the people of Tunisia. We are not upset by the defeat; we came here to gain experience."
