Marquinhos: 'Strong Teams Like Morocco, Senegal, and Tunisia Are Favorites for AFCON'

Brazilian defender Marquinhos of Paris Saint-Germain has tipped the Moroccan national team to win the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which the Kingdom will host starting next December.
Marquinhos stated in a press interview following his country's 2-0 friendly victory over Senegal: "Senegal is a strong team; they put us to a real test, which is what we need before the World Cup."
When asked about the possibility of Senegal winning the continental title, the Brazilian defender responded: "For AFCON, there are strong teams like Morocco, Senegal, and Tunisia. I won't get ahead of myself, and I hope the best team wins."
