Dimitri Payet: 'Morocco a Consistent Force, Senegal Has What It Takes to Reach AFCON Final'

Former French international Dimitri Payet has tipped Morocco and Senegal to win the Africa Cup of Nations title, which is set to be held in the Kingdom starting from December 21st.

In media statements regarding the strongest candidate to win the Africa Cup of Nations title, Payet said: "Well, to be honest, I haven't followed African national team matches much this year."

"But there is a consistent force that has emerged in recent years, and I mean Morocco, and after that, of course, Senegal, which has all the qualities to reach the final. So I will say Morocco and Senegal," he added.
