Chelsea Thrashes Barcelona 3-0 in Champions League Clash Marked by Four Disallowed Blues Goals

English side Chelsea defeated Spanish giants Barcelona 3-0 in a UEFA Champions League Group Stage match on Tuesday evening, part of the fifth round of the competition.

Chelsea dominated the proceedings, initially finding the net in the 24th minute, only for the goal to be disallowed for offside. However, the Blues took the lead shortly after, in the 27th minute, when Jules Kounde inadvertently scored an own goal.

Chelsea maintained their dominance throughout the match and capitalized on Barcelona's numerical disadvantage after defender Araujo received a red card in the 44th minute. Estevao then doubled the English side's lead in the 55th minute.

Chelsea further compounded Barcelona's woes, with Liam Delap scoring the third goal in the 73rd minute, sealing a comprehensive 3-0 victory for the home side.

Following this result, Chelsea now sits in fourth place in the group with 10 points, while Barcelona is in 15th position with 7 points.
