Barcelona temporarily climbed to the top of La Liga with 31 points, awaiting Real Madrid's (31 points) match against hosts Elche tomorrow, Sunday (21:00 GMT+1). Athletic Bilbao's points tally remained at 17, placing them in eighth position.
