Elche Coach Blasts Refereeing: 'Vinicius Committed a Clear Foul on Real Madrid's Second Goal!'

Elche coach Eder Sarabia criticized the refereeing decisions during his team's 2-2 draw against Real Madrid in La Liga's Matchday 13. Sarabia stated in a media interview: “I am not happy at all. I told the players I was frustrated, and now that I have watched the decisive moments, I am even more frustrated.”

He added: “The foul that preceded their second goal was not a foul at all; it was a counter-attack that could have ended in a third goal for us. Then there’s the Vinicius incident, where he didn't touch the ball; Iñaki cleared it, and Vinicius collided with his face.”

The Elche coach noted that goalkeeper Iñaki had not yet seen the replay: “No, he hasn’t seen the incident yet. When he sees it, he will understand. He cleared the ball, and Vinicius was late and hit him in the face, which is why his nose is in this condition. It’s a very clear foul, just as the foul called against us was not a foul.”
