Benzema: "I Might Return to Real Madrid if Florentino Pérez is Still There"

French star Karim Benzema, striker for Saudi club Al-Ittihad, has expressed a clear desire to one day return to Real Madrid, the club where he made a long history before his move to the Saudi League.

Speaking to the Spanish newspaper AS about a potential return to Real Madrid, Benzema said: "If Pérez is still there, then maybe it could happen."

He added: "I speak with him (Pérez) and it could be possible. I am a Madridista, and I feel that inside. Madrid is still my city, and I feel like I am from Madrid and a Madridista. We will see what happens. If he is there."

Karim Benzema joined Al-Ittihad in 2023 on a contract extending until 2026, following the end of his tenure with Real Madrid.
