El Shenawy, El Shahat Among Four Absentees for Al Ahly Ahead of AS FAR Clash

Egyptian giants Al Ahly are preparing to travel to Morocco for their CAF Champions League group stage match against AS FAR, facing significant absences within their squad ahead of the crucial encounter.

Al Ahly will be without goalkeeper Mohamed El Shenawy, who is suffering from a groin strain. Mohamed Shokry is also sidelined with calf muscle pain. Ahmed Abdel Kader will miss the match due to a hamstring issue, while Hussein El Shahat is the most notable absentee, suffering from a hamstring tendon tear.

The Al Ahly delegation will travel to Morocco on a private plane. The administrative staff departed earlier to finalize accommodation and training ground arrangements before the team's arrival for their crucial fixture against AS FAR.

AS FAR will host Egyptian Al Ahly on Friday, November 28, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 PM (20:00 GMT+1) at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat, the capital.
