Baha: "Match Against USA Will Be Good, We Are Confident"

Nabil Baha, head coach of the Moroccan U17 national team, expressed his confidence in his squad ahead of their clash with the United States in the Round of 32 of the U17 World Cup.

“The group stage is over, and we knew we would face a strong team. Now we've been drawn against the United States, and we must begin preparing for the match,” Baha told the media. “It won't be an easy encounter, as the USA today has a well-functioning team that earned its place in the World Cup.”

Baha added, “We saw their team play against our U20 national team, where Morocco won 3-1, and they put on a strong performance against a good side. I believe our U17 match will also be a good game, but anything is possible.”

Baha emphasized the importance of maintaining self-confidence after their recent victory. “This is now a different tournament; the World Cup has truly begun, and whoever loses will return home,” he affirmed. He concluded, “We are confident in ourselves, and the win in the previous match restored the players' confidence. We will prepare for this match with some time to rest before Friday’s game, God willing. We are confident.”
