Moroccan international Abde Ezzalzouli shared an emotional message via his official Instagram account after his confirmed absence from the 2026 World Cup finals due to an injury sustained in a friendly match against Norway.
Ezzalzouli wrote: "I would like to start by extending my sincere thanks to everyone for the messages of support and love I have received over the past few days. My absence from a tournament of this importance is a strong blow, and I cannot deny that it is painful. However, in difficult times, faith, patience, and gratitude are our most precious possessions. Praise be to God for everything," Ezzalzouli added.
He continued: "Those who know me know that I will not give up. I will work every day, with more strength and enthusiasm than ever before, to come back stronger and better."
He further stated: "I also wish all the best to our national team. I am confident that they will do their utmost to represent our country with pride. I call on all Moroccans to stand united behind them and support them every step of the way. Thank you for your continuous support. Praise be to God, Always Morocco!"
