Wahbi: "My Current Concern is Mazraoui and Ezzalzouli's Injuries... Frequent Changes Sometimes Affect Team Rhythm"
Mohammed Wahbi, coach of the Moroccan national team, commented on the injuries sustained by duo Noussair Mazraoui and Abde Ezzalzouli during the 1-1 draw against Norway, noting that frequent substitutions can sometimes affect the rhythm of play.
Speaking in a televised statement after the friendly match, Wahbi said: “We come away with a good impression, even though we didn't secure the win. However, we showed positive aspects against a strong opponent, which makes such matches extremely beneficial.”
He added: “We also made sure to give opportunities to many players and manage their playing time, even though frequent substitutions sometimes affect the team's rhythm.”
Wahbi clarified: “What concerns me currently are the injuries to Mazraoui and Ezzalzouli. We are awaiting the results of their examinations. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the national team's performance.”
