Brazil's Henrique: 'I Wake Up Every Day Saying I'll Score in World Cup Final and Win Title'
Brazil national team player Luis Henrique has revealed his ambitious goals for the upcoming World Cup, stating that he is undergoing continuous mental preparation for the decisive moment in the final. He aims to be the hero of the scene, scoring the goal that will lead the "Seleção" to World Cup glory.
In an interview with Brazilian network "Ge Globo," Henrique said: "I don't have a specific opponent, but I have a clear vision of what my goal in the final will be like."
He continued: "I mentally rehearse this every day with my mentor, and he repeats this to me: that I wake up every day, look in the mirror, and say that I will score a goal in the World Cup final, and that I will be the best player in the World Cup."
"That's why I work on this mental visualization daily, so that when that moment comes, I will be ready and focused to score that goal and make the Brazilian national team world champions," he added.
Brazil is set to kick off its World Cup campaign against Morocco next Saturday (23:00 GMT+1) in the first round of the group stage.
