Moroccan National Team Heads to USA Ahead of World Cup Campaign
The Moroccan national team delegation is currently en route to the United States of America in preparation for the upcoming World Cup finals. The Atlas Lions' journey has just begun from Rabat-Salé Airport, amidst an atmosphere of intense focus and high ambition.
The team's departure to the USA marks a crucial phase in their preparations, following the technical staff's completion of the final period of their training camp. This camp focused on physical readiness and tactical cohesion among the players. This stage also included a successful friendly match where the national squad defeated Madagascar 4-0, a significant test that provided positive indicators regarding the team's readiness for the World Cup.
Mohamed Wahbi's squad is scheduled to play their final friendly match against Norway next Sunday in the United States, ahead of the global competition. This fixture aims to allow the technical staff to finalize the starting lineup and test various tactical options.
Morocco will kick off their World Cup campaign against Brazil on June 13. They will then face Scotland in the second group stage match on June 19, followed by Haiti on June 24.
